It's management that counts
When most people try to understand American politics and how more or less competent presidents can be re-elected, it's worth remembering James Carville's point that it's ultimately about the economy; "The economy, Stupid!".
If Carville had been a digital strategist, talking about web solutions, he could have rightly emphasized that it doesn't matter how nice the website is if you can't work with it on a daily basis. It's management that counts.

The essential adjustments
As a digital agency, Dekode started out ten years ago as a technical WordPress provider for larger design agencies. We quickly realized that there weren't always design moves that could be implemented technically or that had any value for the end users. That's why we hired our own designers.
This gave us a composite staff that understood how design and technology were linked. As a result, we were able to offer more thoughtful solutions and a more efficient process.
When our partners launched a project, we quickly realized that the customer needed help with further development and adjustments. The choices made in a pre-project were later disproved by actual usage patterns. The theory didn't work in practice. In such a situation, the customer did not go back to our design partners, but to us at Dekode. We were the ones with the expertise to make adjustments. Adjustments that contributed to achieving the goal that was the whole reason for creating the web solution in the first place.

Management - least sexy, most efficient
As a result, Dekode organized a separate support department, which has since grown to become today's administration department. In addition, we have adapted our process to weed out high-sounding opinions. We relate to the actual reality of usage patterns. We want to focus on the core of an online solution and launch a user-centric solution that is scalable. Then we can further develop and optimize the solution after launch. This brings our customers to their goals faster and more cost-effectively. Central to this way of working is Dekode's department with the least sexy name: Management.
After taking these steps, we see time and time again that the management department has an even greater value than we first imagined.
As a sales manager at Dekode , I handle the majority of enquiries that come to Dekode. We often see larger or smaller companies contacting us because they've heard that Dekode has its own operations and management department. The background and story is often the same: they have a great web solution that they are relatively happy with, but when it comes to making adjustments to the solution, they are on their own without a support system. When they call their supplier, the developers, who originally created the solution, are locked in other projects and help is far away.
The art of long-term thinking
Management has become one of Dekode's biggest advantages and something we must remember clients on already when they request a new website. In competitions, a supplier who offers operation or has a subcontractor who does so is often requested. But behind this is often only access to server capacity. Then web agencies that use web hotels are equated with more serious players, which I, as both a sales manager and consultant, think is completely wrong.
We also see that digital trends can mean that, for example, a specific CMS is recommended by large and skilled agencies, but without management being thought of as an essential part of a larger context. It will come clients back a couple of years later and tells how they were left all alone, having chosen what was presented as a wonder CMS. Then it is safe to be presented with a total package of premium management, which takes care of your needs from start to finish.
We are ready to help you
IN Dekode we see that several other suppliers have also understood the value of management, but do not know how to offer it themselves. IN Dekode we like to work with other creative environments. We have several permanent partners who have put aside the operation of the digital solutions they have done Dekode , to us. This is because they see that it strengthens their customer relationships. Management is a service that we do not just offer ours clients , but can also offer other agencies, which have digital maturity and want to offer their customers premium management.
Dekode's administration department is a team of skilled WordPress developers who are available for support, further development and optimization every weekday. With this readiness, it is easy for Dekode to offer both crisis help and improvements, supplemented by our other staff of designers and advisors. We have fixed management agreements that guarantee response time and proactive monitoring of technical solutions. In addition, we can customize server capacity and security to more unique requirements.
