Brønnøysund Registers: Quality assurance of an administrative agency
The Brønnøysund Register is an agency under the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Fisheries. With 17 different registers for both the public and private sectors, they store a large amount of information. Their mission is to ensure that order and an overview of financial matters, ownership and responsibility in businesses are maintained. When their website brreg.no was to be migrated to WordPress, it was Dekode who was tasked with the transition.
We delivered
- Technical advice in connection with setting up a customized development environment for WordPress, and a framework for developing the solution with Advanced Custom Fields.
- Code review of the finished solution and security evaluation of third-party plugins.
- Advice in connection with the setup of servers, as well as integration of search services (w2.brreg.no).
- Review and assessment of new design, with special focus on interaction design
