Defa has an extensive website that reaches consumers and businesses in many countries with a range of different products and good informative content. This places great demands on a clear and user-friendly website and online store.
For general consumers, DEFA's products are listed and you can dive into a content universe dedicated to related topics. These are typically: efficient energy usage, climate, safety and ease of use for electrical components. If you are inspired to buy a DEFA product, this can be done from the website's online store, which is built in WooCommerce. Associated with the store's products are installation guides with accompanying video manuals. Many of these emphasize the need for professional help from a certified installer.
An important part of DEFA's online solution is a B2B customer portal, where dealers and installers of DEFA products can get assistance with each individual product.
Dealers and installers can log into the customer portal. Here they can get access to product information and, if necessary, support for specific purchased products.
For installers, there is a separate service area with installation guides. These include both written manuals and audiovisual guides. This part of the solution is designed so that it can be easily opened and used by installers at work. Like all Dekode's solutions, it is built according to the "mobile first" principle where all different file formats can be retrieved and displayed on portable devices such as mobile phones and iPads.
